About IGNA

Alumni is an integral part of the DAAD, and it is of importance that we keep in touch with our alumni. Therefore, we at DAAD support alumni associations and clubs by providing relevant information, communication, and networking opportunities within the region. Indo-German Nachkontakt Association (IGNA), Hyderabad is a long-standing alumni association that has made a valuable contribution to strengthening alumni networks and activities within the region. The members of IGNA play an active role as multiplicators/disseminators of knowledge, maintaining long-term ties with Germany and cooperating with universities and research institutions to keep abreast of the latest developments. You have successfully fulfilled your role as advocates of sustainable change, mentors for the up-and-coming students, professionals, and experts, and most importantly for being the bridge between India and Germany. Lastly, I’d like to congratulate the new board and team members of IGNA who have been recently elected unanimously and encourage them to continue with their work and the multiple roles they play for fostering Indo-German relations.
